Rio(2011)

Captured by traffickers during his formative years, a macaw named Blu was prevented from developing flight proficiency and has lived a peaceful domestic life in Minnesota with his owner, Linda. Blu is believed to be the last remaining individual of his species; nevertheless, upon discovering that Jewel, a solitary female of the same species, dwells in Rio de Janeiro, Blu and Linda travel to establish a connection with her. Wildlife traffickers subsequently capture both Blu and Jewel; however, the two successfully escape and undertake a perilous journey toward freedom and reunion with Linda.
